Beginners first apply for the Bachelor program in Informatics and can then afterwards
smoothly pass over to the Master program in Informatics.
Otherwise you can also realign your direction and apply at TUM e.g. for the Master
program in Information Systems or for the MBA,
or you continue your education with a Master program abroad—or you start directly your professional career.
Graduates from a Bachelor program in Informatics or in a related subject may directly
apply for the master program in Informatics.
All applications comprise an aptitude test. This includes an interview with the
admissions committee. This interview is not an exam.
It is an interview designed to find out whether it can be expected that the
applicant will master his/her studies successfully.
