Postgraduate Studies in Informatics
| The
Technische
Universität München offers the opportunity to participate in
a postgraduate program of Informatics. Prerequisite for the program is a
finished degree of at least “good” in Mathematics, Physics, Electric
Engineering, Business, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering,
Surveying and Mapping, Brewing and Beverage Technology, or Food
Technology.
Other majors are also admissible, after an application has been
submitted. Here, a good knowledge of
Mathematics or Informatics is a vital requirement.
Since the winter semester 2004/2005, a master's program in Applied Informatics is offered. It is directed towards graduates of other majors with the intent to offer application-oriented skills in Informatics. Contrary to the Postgraduate Studies in Informatics, the master's program in Applied Informatics will result in the obtainment of the degree “Master of Applied Informatics”. |
