| The department of
Informatics offers a broad selection of study
opportunitites in the fields of
Informatics, Information Systems, Bioinformatics, and Didactics of Informatics.
Furthermore, the TUM offers a Master's Program in Computational Science and Engineering as well as in Applied Informatics. Additionally, the Department is involved in four Special Programs.
The Dean of Academic Affairs of the Deparment of Informatics, Prof. Florian Matthes, is the contact person for students, faculty, and others regarding questions of planning, securing, and developing the faculty's teaching offerings.

At www.elearning.tum.de, the TUM is offering a central eLearning platform since WS 2005/2006, which also supports numerous courses offered by the Department of Informatics.
